Our Story & Mission

9 years and 9 months of consistent service to the vulnerable

The Homeless and Prisoners Support Foundation (THPSF) is the Nigeria Chapter of “The Bright and Morning Star Homelessness and Prisoners Outreach UK” (BMS UK). We are a not-for-profit, non-governmental charity organization, duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with registration number RC-6983779.

Founded by Prophetess Monsurat Ibilola Osarobo Adenuga, our organization is coordinated by Pastor Deborah Life-Alegbemi in the FCT. We are a faith-based organization serving individuals and people of all faith, race and ethnicity, with presence in Lagos, FCT, Ogun, Oyo and Kwara states.

Our commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of the vulnerable through structured programs and initiatives.

Poverty Alleviation Through Empowerment

To promote alleviation of poverty through empowerment and skill acquisition training for released prison inmates and police cell detainees for productive living.

Prison & Police Cell Outreach

To visit and support those in prison and police cells, bringing them hope through the message of God's love and forgiveness for spiritual transformation.

Support for Vulnerable & Homeless

To provide help and succour to the vulnerable and homeless, raise awareness of their special needs and provide individualized and community support services.

Community Development Collaboration

To collaborate with community development foundations and agencies of government on any project that impacts positively on the lives of prisoners and the vulnerable people in the society.

Prison Chaplaincy & Humanitarian Aid

To work with prison chaplains and provide humanitarian aid, spiritual advice, physical support and emotional to prisoners and help prepare them for their release to live a productive life.

Prison Reform Advocacy

To commit to campaigning for prison reform and changes, especially in the area of improvements in conditions for prisoners.
